At last we´ve reached wind;but not alot of it.8-9
knots true and manageing approx 5knt over the ground. Current not helping yet
because still sets towards the Equator.Shows the advantage of a boat that sails
well; a heavier boat and it would be motor.Still not enough speed for the duogen
so charging and making water.Will continue to head south of the course in the
hope of more wind.But at least we move.2700nm to go so passage is still on
course for a fast one.
Still no ships so another good nights sleep Slowly
winning the battle with the ´no see ums´which came aboard in Panama.Breadmaking
this morning and chill out untill things speed up,although it is harder work to
keep aboat going in light airs than in a force 4.
