Doesn´t seem a month since we sailed into Apia . We
have hired a car most of the time to get the most of hte island . The Samoans
are wonderful friendly people and have entertained us in their homes with feasts
cooked in the traditional way that is in a stone oven and wrapped in palm leaves
. The weather has been good and we have walked in the forests and swum under
waterfalls which is much cooler than the sea .And of course watched plenty of
rugby.
Today has been preparing the boat for a saturday
departure for Tonga. Penny has been up the mast four times today to help fix the
navigation lights . She might eventually eveen enjoy it ,
