The wind of yesterday dropped overnight and backed so we had to head further south to maintain boat speed.making 4kn for much of darkness. The sunrise with a clear blue sky brought 15knt from just behind the beam but taken forward by our boat speed of 7.3knt.yesterdaysrun was in the circumstances creditable at 142nm.The current is still north towards the Equator and though not helping directly allows us to keep the wind infront of the beam.We are now back on a direct course.
Duogen in air mode is maintaining the batteries.I think the water bearing must have been going for some time.Penny I will email you separately to email Pete Anderson at Eclectic.Still looking at 18 days for arrival Marquesa.Good news is finally seem to have killed off the Panama flies. No boats seen.
