The sun is out this morning on a grey sea with
moderate swell from astern.The clouds remnants of last nights blow are moving
north wewst.Fair amount of rain in short blasts although how one would have
collected it with the rolling and the wind i´m not sure.My raincatcher would
have acted as an extra sail and I was busy reducing sail at the time.Not as good
a run yesterday mainly because for most of the day the wind was light and dead
astern.133nm logged and 150nm measured so the current is still
present.
Drank a glass of lemonade yesterday,bought it for a
treat.I´d never realised how sickly sweet it is-my sugar/fat free high fibre
diet I suppose.Hope the same doesn´t happen when I have my first gin and tonic
on arrival
