We left Marina Taiana yesterday and returned to the anchorage at cooks Bay where we spent a gusty night despite the shelter from the mountains .

Today we walked the route de ananas to see the pineapples growing in the fields and then had tea and scones on board with Ann Marie and Bernard from Switzerland [last seen 3 years ago in the Canaries so a lot to catch up]. 

Whilst in Marina Taiana we finally got the shore power socket replaced ; it was broken in Trinidad and has been faulty and shorting since .

Tomorrow night we plan to sail northwest to Huahine.This is one of the leeward island group and less known to tourists
