All of yesterday and ournight untill 0600 hrs today the winds blew at 30knt topping at well over 40knt.Very heavy rain with vis down to 10 metre. Probably as bad as I have seen for a prolonged period. Boat ploughed on under storm jib at 6-7 knt so we are well placed to landfall tomorrow morning in daylight.
Rolling less this morning and wind now a gentle 12knt. Still sloudy.
I took time yesterday to remove the headlining from the stern cabin and isolated a small leak from a stantion. All it needed was a spenner.
The genset started blowing the pump fuse .Discovered the fitter had put in a 16 amp instead of a 20 amp.Seems ok now with a 20 amp fuse.Fortunately I bough a huge bag from Screwfix before settling off . Knew they would come in usefull one day
