Arrived back in New Zealand yesterday . Good flight and some sleep . Everything worked well and we soon picked up the car to drive the 120m to Whangarie . Very tired since we had been traveling since 9am Monday to get here .
After the appalling storms and rain in the UK it was perhaps no surprise to find Carl who owns the boatyard here putting extra props on the hull and taking down the bimini cover ; yes the uk weather is about to transfer here and we expect a category 3 Cyclone called Lusi to visit us later today and during Saturday .
Very pleased with the work that has been done for us in our absence . Sails are ready to be fitted , Genset is installed and woodwork progressing well. Only the weather now holding us up.
Nice New Zealand rib of beef this evening when we batten down
