Now 60 km from Suwwaru . Met with a fronrtal
syst5em over night with wind to 40 kt + .Still dealing with the wind but feels
light at 38 kt . No problem . Boat stayed on course at 6kt with storm jib +tail
end of no 1 .
Problem now is very to try Suwarrow or continue to
Samoa (500 nm ). Even more important is not to hit Suwarru since i´´m not sure
the coordinates are correct ie GPS to chart . Hopefully wind is dropping so
decision may get easier later.
Incidentally we have had rain but couldn´t persuade
Penny to go on fordeck to erect raincatcher in force 9.Hurrah for
watermakers
