We finally set sail yesterday and had a lovely fast reach to Bora Bora .First boat to arrive and we took the last mooring at Kaimai yacht Club which is in Viatape just below the mountain . Its heuva here ; started last night with drummers singers and dancers.!70 dancers in grass skirts and a 30 piece drum band - wild. This lasts a full month and features dance troups from all over the Pacific.The whole thing is held in specially built traditional village on the town quay.

Penny spliced the new anchor to its rope whilst we were in Raiataa so being on a mooring is good idea.

Several boats we met earlier seem to be here getting ready to move west.Its very laid back but a distinct holiday atmosphere with plenty of music
