On 8th December we flew home to Europe to spend Christmas with our families, see our friends and take advice on the prostate cancer and increasingly troublesome hip. Initially we stayed in Plymouth, had a great family Christmas at Harpenden and on 5th January moved to Bath. It seemed sensible to try to get both medical problems sorted out so we put back our plans to return to JJ Moon until late September. Malaysia is a convenient country administratively to leave a boat for some months.
