Island

 One special event was the
arrival of the yellow sea plane from Port Vila. The children were thrilled
many of whom had never seen a sea plane before and here was one they could touch
even.
 School children enjoying
their morning off.
 A group of us went for a
walk round the village on Lamen Island. Although still very basic it was
very attractive with almost a landscaped look with wide paths flanked by
low coral walls.
 Our guide demonstrates a
fairly new hand pump which replaces the old well.
