A walk to a waterfall from Daniel's Bay Nuku Hiva started with cheerful faces.

Ready for anything

Before starting we walked along a path with rather primitive homes but lovely South Pacific gardens.  For gardener's eyes.... imagine these scenes as part of your back garden!

Imagine this is your back garden view.Wheelbarrow at the ready.

Now for the hard stuff, crossing the stream for the first time and seeing the waterfall from a distance.

Crossing the stream.View of the waterfall.

Daniels' bay has some spectacular volcanic cliffs.  Here Y-Not is lifting anchor.  The cliffs rise magnificently behind.

Anchors aweigh.

Our own banana tree and a last view of the delightful Daniel's Bay at Nuku Hiva.
