We are cracking along nicely this morning in winds of mid 20s, our
strongest of the trip so far. Fortunately it is south westerly so nicely on our
quarter enabling good speeds. Louise has just come off watch having done 21
miles in her 3 hour watch – and promptly gone back to bed to celebrate! – so we
will see what Ollie can to do to top it. He is reading Sir Robin K-J’s
autobiography so has learned some tricks.
Yesterday’s excitement was the launch of the first of 3 ocean weather
monitoring buoys. If Crystal, Alex or anyone is reading this it would be good to
know if it is actually working so please message back! My e mail might be in
your junk Crystal?
Ann – I hope your flight back and J&E’s went well. Lovely to see you
all
We are eating and keeping well, over a third of the way there now so will
just keep going. |
