I had a great time last week with Loulene, who braved the Covid era travel hassles to spend some time on RAVEN. We had thought to go sailing for a day or two but combination of strong winds and other temptations kept us ashore! Bike trips, lovely Atlantic beaches (in the wind, rain and sunshine), a trip in to Lisbon for supper with some S African friends - and of course much good local food, especially fresh fish. I hope she has not been put off and will risk a Caribbean adventure!

A few jobs planned for this week in preparation for the next leg, with Bilal and Lucie joining on Saturday and we sail Sunday .
