Well, this is just a short intro as a test message really, but will be the first of many messages in coming months.

So far, and with fingers firmly crossed, we are on track to leave Dartmouth on weekend of 21/22 August with Leg 1 crew of Bilal, Jon and Simon joining for the trip down to Lisbon. Much to do in the meantime in terms of boat preps, especially buying extra equipment,  sorting spare parts and tools,  fitting of some solar panels (with thanks to Bilal for technical expertise) and much admin. We hope the UK “Covid experiment” of unlocking in recent weeks will not prevent Spain and Portugal letting us in.

We have already ordered the ARC branded clothing for Graham, James and me, with hats and T shirts being organised for anyone who crews any leg……..so we will have to go now !!
