We moved up the coast later on Saturday afternoon, anchoring in the bay with no name to the north of Anse a la Barque, as recommended to us by the OCC’s man in Guadeloupe.
The braai had its first outing of the trip, with the BBQ courtesy of team at Spire Little Aston and tongs courtesy of Ollie. Fortunately Raven did not catch fire and we had tasty chicken kebabs and lamb chops.
On the Sunday morning we headed further up the coast, securing to a buoy by Petit Pigeon Island, helped by a couple who had sailed up last year from South Africa and had put their dinghy on the same buoy.
The islands are a marine park named after Cousteau , with fabulous coral gardens and fish which we saw while snorkelling. Pictures to follow when I can sort the technology from waterproof camera!
We left the buoy late afternoon, quick trip across the bay and anchored in time for a little dinghy trip ashore before sunset.
