We have been cracking along well since passing the French yacht and have been reducing canvas so as not to arrive at the island before dawn . Currently 2 reefs in main and genoa and doing 6.5 kts on a beam reach, discussions being had about supper plans with chef Bilal being given instructions by supervising chef Lucie for the stir fry with rice. We have a fish in the fridge – from the supermarket it must be confessed! – which we are keeping for a braai tomorrow at anchor, though a certain law says we will probably catch a fresh one. A tiddler was briefly hooked this afternoon but it became the one  that got away!
