We left shortly before 9 for our longest passage of the week, 30 miles to Jost Van Dyke (JVD) with a lunchtime anchorage stop at Sandy Cay.
The weather was kind to us , a good broad reach on port tack so we made good speed and crew were able to relax enroute!
We had planned to take Abby the dinghy ashore after lunch, but she was making strange noises again so discretion became the better part of valour. I swam to the beach to get some pics of the lovely sand. Motoring on to JVD we got to our buoy fine and had a spell ashore before returning for good supper onboard, followed by a cockpit “movie night “ sharing countless cartoon clips from our phones from early Covid era, YesMinister etc which had us in hysterics late into the evening.
