After leaving Trellis Bay, we went between the Camanoe islands before hoisting sails, which was promptly followed by a torrential downpour. We had dried out by the time we reached Cane Garden Bay, going ashore for lunch watching the pelicans diving for fish in the bay. This was followed by a visit to the Callwood rum distillery - we weren’t convinced by the guide’s claim that they were still making rum there, but the tasting convinced us that we needed to buy a bottle anyway.
On to Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke, where an apparently vacant mooring turned out to be reserved by another yacht, so we anchored further out in the bay after a couple of attempts to find a suitable spot.
