We got to Village Cay at lunchtime so that Amy could get her covid test done- needed for various places along her route back via StMaarten , Washington and Dublin. I got a bit more work out of her , up the mast trying unsuccessfully to sort the deck light , which is not a vital accessory.
We had a good week of gentle sailing, with some good time moored in bays for swimming, reading etc and she left a better colour than she arrived after a winter working in Edinburgh and Fife. She is back to a new job on the rotation this week….meant to be in endocrinology but the ward is full of covid cases!
She left Sunday morning and after some jobs onboard I trekked over to a beach on the north side with goo views across to Guana island whe we had been on Thursday. There are no nice paths here so the “trekking “ is a matter of walking on a fairly busy road which is very steep up to about 350m and then dives down the other side.
