We had another lovely lunchtime anchorage, Savanna Bay on Virgin Gorda. John H was first in to swim, but was rapidly back up the ladder having seen a small “shark” . Jon K claimed it would only be a harmless reef shark ….a Google search revealed that there had been dome attacks on humans but none of them had been fatal. Further investigation showed that it was actually a barracuda which stayed underneath Raven for a couple of hours in a menacing way so was duly named Vladimir!
A short afternoon sail brought us to Virgin Gorda Sound where we went alongside at Bitter End Yacht Club which has been rebuilt after being decimated in hurricane Irma in 2017.
As the only monohull on the pontoon, we were well dwarfed by some huge catamarans.
