We woke to find that TALITHA had left the bay overnight, so didn’t get to thank Mark Getty in person! We weighed anchor mid morning and headed north up the west coast of Virgin Gorda, round Mosquito Island and then went for a look at Necker Island owned by Branson . It all looked very lovely, though we were bemused to see some evidently fake palm trees on a small sandy island nearby!
After filling up the water tanks at the Bitter End pontoon in Gorda Sound , we went to one of their moorings and had a good supper ashore, celebrating St Patrick’s Day with a Guinness to start the evening and a Jameson back onboard later.
