A good short hike with Louise and Ollie - after a suitably large lazy breakfast- on what turned out to be the only dry (well, most of the time!) day of the week. We walked from the boat through the port and up to Monte da Guia, a small volcanic peak which overlooks the Caldeira do Inferno.
Tour of the old whaling station on our way back, followed by a huge afternoon tea in a cafe, followed in turn by tasty fish supper and drinks at the famous Peter’s Bar.
