After a calm sunny day with pancakes etc yesterday, things took a turn in the evening……wind up to 30 kts and some heavy squalls making helming a challenge and sleep nigh impossible! Two reefs in main and genoa fully furled to get better angle on wind. It has continued in that vein today but at least we are now pointing roughly towards St L and getting VMG of 6 ish so there is hope.
Not sure there is much hope for the bananas though - still stubbornly green!
