Arrived here late afternoon after a good downwind sunny sail from Porto Santo. Now at Quinta do Lorde at the eastern end of the island. Not the neatest parking in the marina (no major damage Jon!) . The marina is part of a resort which seems to be all closed/empty so a bit of a weird atmosphere in the immediate vicinity and we look forward to exploring the real Madeira tomorrow.
We were confined to the boat for a couple of hours while Covid and other documents were reviewed by the police but got ashore in time for a meal and to feed some Portuguese steak to the restaurant cat .
