She Floats!!!

After a couple of frantic days of preparation UHURU went back into the water this afternoon..... And she still floats :-}

Frankie and the boys from Spice Island Marine were great, despite spaying us and half the boat with Hydraulic oil when a high pressure on the lifter ruptured.  All part of the adventure. Oii, who took the brunt of it, cursed about all the extra cleaning!! But it should all come out.

Temperatures today were in the mid 90’s with humidity to match. A long hard hot day. And the Gin & Tonic is slipping down real easy.

Well onwards and upwards, we head out to Port Louis, St Georges tomorrow. A chance to check all the systems before Botty, David & Tamsin arrive and we start off proper.
