having no wifi and long passages, it has been hard to try get a message out.
We are still on passage to Niue, had a really rough time of it. A frontal
system came through with big mixed seas and wind on the nose, yes exactly
what this boat loves!! It has eventually semi calmed down so we should be in
Niue by tomorrow morning. We hope to be able to stay a few days, but this
will depend on winds as it's an open roadstead anchorage. Our friends on
KatyC pulled in 2 days ago and had to leave straight away as the waves were
so big in the anchorage, they were breaking over their bow....and KatyC is a
large boat. They had another 2 days to go to Tonga where Matthias will
celebrate his 50th. I cant believe I have friends that are so old. We hope
to get to Tonga by the 25th to celebrate with him not that we haven't had a
few cups of tea with him in the past.
