Touch rugby on the beach, the beach was full of shells and coral so the feet were shredded afterwards. I was happy though leg was holding although lungs not so good

We visited the mud pools near Nadi.  It is a pool dug into the ground totally natural.  No concrete here, just mud.  Process is that we swim in this pool and get some mud on.  then due to the amount of rain recently it is not as thick as normal, so, we climb out and smear ourselves with the thick stuff and wait for it to dry.  Then rinse off under a shower outside, then immerse into the thermal pool for final rinse and purification, all for the bargain price of £3 each and free for kids.

the first pool was disgusting but the rest was fun.  Callum even went back for seconds!!

This was the final rinsing stage, a hot thermal pool, about 35 degrees, but wonderful.  totally natural.

Our room in Pacific Harbour in a place called Club Oceanus - very good hostel.  Kids loved this upstairs level all to themselves in a real bed and shower with hot water.

From here, we did our shark dive (see Bequ dive on line for photos and videos etc)  this was an amazing deep dive to see Bull Sharks.  there were only about 6 as it is mating season, and most have gone up river.  however, 6 was enough.  They swim up to the feeder who has a wheelie bin full of fish heads.  Not only are there the bulls, but grey sharks and black and white tips.  We had varying feeding shows, for want of a better phrase.  It was pretty amazing to see these animals so close up, also lots of other big fish, but I don't necessarily agree with the feeding of these hunters.  they get lazy as they get fed every day.  But it was worth doing - once.

Now we are in Suva again seeing Sarah and Dean and watching the rugby in the Suva Yacht Club, where our Fiji adventure began.  We rented a car and staying in hotels has been a luxury treat.  but back to the boat tomorrow and then sailing to Vanuatu on Tuesday.  This should take 3 nights and should arrive on Saturday just in time for the Semi's - not that it has been planned this way!!!!!!

Well lots of news from us but no more until we reach Vanuatu, so no need to look at the blog Andrew for a few days.
