We arrived in Portugal yesterday and are a metro
ride from Porto. Unfortunately the wind we were expecting only came in in the
afternoon, so we motored all the way which was a bit of a dissapointment.
Today we spent the day in Porto which is a fabulous
city on the cliffs overhanging the river. Lots of history and was apparently the
first city in Portugal and where the origins of the name came from. Also its the
main port producing areas and we went round one of the cellars today to learn
more about port.
Vicki has promised to write some experiences down
on the blog tomorrow, so for now here are some pictures.
