Hi All
We arrived in North Africa yesterday afternoon
although we are still in Spain which is the Spanish equivalent of Gibraltar. We
cruising with our SA and NZ friends. They all on monohulls and are paying a
fortune for the marina, we were lucky because our registration form says our
hull beam is 1.5m it fails to mention there are 2 of them with a big piece
in-between, so we landed up paying for 12m by 1.5 instead of 12 x 6, 4 time
less, obviously I did not point out the error.
The rugby was great, a really good clean game apart
from the usual saintly "Richie McCaw"!!!! Rugby bosses need to start calling the
game properly, Both SA and Aus have 6-7 penalties per yellow card, NZ have 47,
maybe things are a little out of kilter!
Whine done
Ceuta is quite nice although it is pronounced
Soweto which brings less fond memories. Today we strolled through the town it's
a mix of Muslim Christian, Jewish and Hindu so the dress code is quite an
interesting mix. We did the usual of castle sights, churches and shopping, in 2
years we will have seen probably every fort in the world.
Here are a few pics to date.
