Hi All

We are on route, 28 hours left to go to the Tuamotu. We have sailed most of
the way, but now the wind is down so having to motor sail.
The Marquises were so beautiful, each island spectacularly different. They
literally rise out of the ocean way into the clouds. Well worth seeing them
but once again by boat is the best option as you get to see them all and
from different angles.
We watched Mutiny on the Bounty last night. It really brings the movie alive
when sailing in the same area and seeing similar sights....although the
greetings by the locals are more reserved and unfortunately modern clothing
has found its way onto the top half of the women!

The 2Tomatoes (sick of looking up the spelling) are very different, they are
merely tiny low pieces of land surrounded by coral. I think the geology is
that the cone of the volcano sank leaving behind the coral atoll. We are
wont be going to Pitcairn island (this is where Fletcher Christian sunk the
bounty after the mutiny) apparently his descendants are still there.

We hope to get wifi so we can download more photos
