Hi All
As you all know we in Saint Lucia, thanks for all the messages.

Although we are here, the passage has not quite left us!
Last night the marina put on a party for the ARC. We attended till about 11PM and still have "passage lag" went to bed.
At about 1AM I was woken up with a loud bang and looked out of the hatch.....I saw red and white flares in the sky and saw about 6 masts in close proximity. Swearing at who was on watch I jumped out of bed ran straight into the closed door to the cockpit (on passage it is always open, closed when on dock) rubbing my head with further profanities, I ran to the helm to try avoid a collision, while wondering where on earth the on watch crew member was!!
At this point the sky was ablaze with flares.......no, the ARC party was having a fireworks display right next to the boat!
So rather sheepishly and with less profanity I lit a smoke to reduce the adrenalin levels and watched the rest of the show.
