OK,so you have had the technical information from Tim, now i am going to
give you a little description of what life is really like in a washing
machine.
Callum has had his pjymas on now for 48 hours, neither the kids have made it
to brush their teeth for 2 days. they only get off the sofa if they need a
pee or to change films, or if i force them into the cockpit to get some
fresh air. They are generally managing but are fed up of the rolling.
This rolling, let me try to sumise what it is really like. Stand on a
wobble board or a piece of square wood supported by a ball underneath. now
try walking forwards, trow some water into your face, wind so that you cant
move, then try to drink or eat! The boat moves for and back, side to side
and sort of corkscrews all at the same time. If you fill your tea only half
full so as not to spill any. then take it to your mouth, and as you take a
sip, a big wave comes and spills it over you - result - no tea. Or like
today, i had cheese on crackers, which i ate outside. Very soon they were
wet crackers, off the plate. who said that CATs dont move or heel??? so
much for Tims theory of glass of wine on the table and not falling over, or
in our case tea/coffee, as of course, safely first and this is a dry boat.
My magic cooking has quickly dropped off with a help yourself if your hungry
during the day, to pasta and pesto or pasta and anything out of a jar in the
evening. Tim is realy stuggling as he has had no bread for 2 days now. I
AM NOT MAKING ANY TILL ITS CALMER!!!!
As for the pilates during the passage. I am tensing my muscles all over
constantly...think that is good enough dont you?
Our tomatoes in the swinging basket are the pre tomato sauce tomatoes. They
are getting a bit of a banging. Lots of tomato sauce to make in a day or so
then.
The temperature is increasing, and also the humidity. Water temp is reading
31 degrees, but not even going to try a swim so dont worry.
So i hope that i have given you an insight into the real life inside our
washing machine. currently watching winnie the pooh, snow scene, actually
sounds very appealing right now.
It does promise to abate slightly later, but lets see.
So until then.
