Just a quick update. For the last few days we have been stuck in a beatiful
bay which has a narrow entrance. We tried to get out yesterday, but the
waves were breaking right across the entrance. There must have been some big
wind in the middle of the Atlantic bringing in huge seas. The bar across the
mouth is very shallow hence the break. This morning we woke up and it looked
managable so we left. A bit rough going out, but safe, now we on route to
Cascais (close to the mouth of the river uup to Lisbon) . The seas are still
quite rough, but fine to motor sail through.
