Hi all
We have just left Los Roques for an over night sail to Bonaire, it is such a
pity we had to leave as they really are fantastic tiny islands with crystal
clear waters. It would have been nice to spend a week or so just chilling,
but we want to max out on our time is other areas and never allotted time
for there.
There are probably 50 or so minute islands that make up the archipelago of
Los Roques. You sit at anchor in crystal clear water looking directly out at
sea only protected by a barrier reef.
Today we went snorkeling and saw some Sun fish which are odd looking, also
octopus and the "normal" varieties of reef fish. We decided to over night to
Bonaire, Vic and I have settled into a comfortable watch pattern and sailing
shorter distances at night means the kids get more land time.
That's all the news for now
