We had a great few days in the Grenadines, the Tobago keys are great
as mentioned.
Today we started heading back North to St Lucia we want to be back by
new years eve so we have a few days to put the boat to bed while we
away.
Unfortunately sailing to dead lines means you can't wait for the right
wind! So we had a tough bumpy sail up to St Vincent and will probably
have another looking at the forecast for Friday. I keep promising the
family good sailing but the wind gods have other ideas.
I have never been to St Vincent as it has a bad reputation, however
things seem better and we in a lovely bay anchored with a line running
to shore.
We will spend tomorrow here and see a bit of the island then face the
winds on Friday back to st L.
We really have to spend sometime when we get back to do maintenance on
the boat, we have done nothing since grand canaria so lots needs to be
inspected and repaired. The water maker has gone down again!! The
chart plotter is not functioning, batteries need a look at, fetch
spinnacker, and that's just the obvious stuff.
Once that is all done we will head north and then haul her out to do
bottom work.....god paradise is tough!
Anyway hope you all have a great NY party and catch up soon
