Hi All
We are currently anchored off Panama City. The last few days have been
provisioning for the next 6 months. The boat is 6 inches lower in the water, the
freezer is packed to the brim, there is 100 lts of wine onboard, beer, Gin and
food of course.
We leave tomorrow for the Galapagos. There is very little wind so it could
be a hard sail/motor to get there, but we not waiting for wind as time for fun
is limited.
Here are some pics from the transit.
This was our lock buddy for the up hill transit

On the left is a massive freighter coming down and our ship entering the
first canal

the lock gates closing on the 1st lock

We were rafted to katyC so we line handled 1 side and they did the
other

Aisling and Malcolm line handled for us, Cal obviously very involved.
Not sure if this is some sort of history....but Cal lost one of his baby
teeth going through the locks

Exiting the last lock, from here we anchored for the night before the
balance of the transit the next morning

Lots of island litter the lake as they were hills before lake Gatun was
built
