We have had the most amazing time here in Nuie. This has to have been the best island so far. Extremely friendly, peaceful, not as expensive, and the wildlife - well i will come to that. We rented a car, and explored, the endless caverns and caves with snorkelling and hiking, has been beautiful. In our anchorage, about 12 humpback whales have been hanging out. They come here to breed and raise their young, before they return to Antarcia. We have been lucky enough to be able to share this. They play about the boats, breathing and flipping about. It is an amazing site, and i have waited so long to see this. We also manged a quick snorkel with them. Seeing them far deep below was incredible. But although we didnt see much, we heard their sonar talking. That will stay with me forever.
so we leave here for tonga today, and hope to have more whale watching.
Enough for now before i make you feel more jealous.
Photos in a couple of days when we are in Tonga.
