We currently in the Marina at Lagos.Decided to come in for a few days, clean
the boat inside and out, provision, laundry etc. When we went ashore to
Vicki's horror, every restaurant has bangers and mash, Guinness and an
English menu. So it looks like the Brits flock to Lagos and the Irish to
Alvor.
The wind has eventually settled down which is nice as it gets really tiring
when it blows hard non stop. The downside especially in the marina is that
its hot with little breeze. We managed to get wifi in the marina and so had
a Skype session with Vic's dad and then yesterday all Callum's school
friends met at Sarah's house and he spent 45 minutes chatting to them. So it
took a boat for Vic and me to join this century and use tools like Skype to
chat for free to friends.
So we off today, coastal hopping down to Faro where we will meet Julie and
Lauren on the 29th. I think she may be regretting coming as we ordered tons
of stuff for the boat and she is our courier. I will have to compensate her
by making tons of cocktails when she's onboard.
Will upload more photos when we take some although I'm sure the beaches are
getting boring to look at.
All our love TVCJ
