Hi All

its10 am on Monday and we are about 40% of the way. Last night and this
morning was horrible, really rough as we were still on the continental
shelf. So 4-5m swell from the west with 2-3 m seas from the NW and 1 M seas
from SW. Wind blowing 20-30kts so breezy, but with all the chop the speed
has been hard to maintain.

We should be in the deep water in about 2 hours and hope as a result the
seas settle themselves.
When I say deep water we have been sailing in between 100 and 150 m, in 2-3
hours they drop to over 4000m! So the reason so choppy is the swell is
coming off that deep water and backing up on the continental shelf.

Other than that all is well, the crew have settled nicely and doing a
sterling job. The boat is taking it all in her stride, although quite noisy
and rolly at times.

Thanks for the emails from Kim and Vic, look forward to hearing from others.

All our love
