Cant believe that we leave tomorrow morning early for Spain.  This week has flown by, with lots of planning, organising, shopping and for me a bit of fretting.  Had our first proper food provision yesterday. A huge shop,  with Andrew on board, it should last at least a week!  Plenty of meat for the men.  Had to de-package everything from the pre-packs, and bag, so as to squash it into the freezer.  All cupboards are also stuffed with food.  i am just hoping that i can cook under sail, as it may be a rocky one.
I have to ensure that every thing that can move or break is packed away properly otherwise we may have some issues.
I have cleaned the boat, made the beds for our crew, and packed the 2 kiddies in together in Jessica s room.  Dinner is ready for tonight, lasagne.  At least one decent meal before we end up eating toast and crackers!  No bread unless Andrew fancies it...i may try who knows.
Just time for a relaxing shower, before we fill up again, oh and have to use my hair-dryer and straighteners...who knows when i will be allowed to use them again!!  It has been incredibly windy here all week, and getting a bit tiring.  Its much less windy when you are sailing and hopefully we will be with it.

As Vic mentioned we leave in the morning, should be relatively light till noon and then it starts to build. At first from the Nw then N then turns NE. This means it's behind us and should lead to a fast passage. Maybe at times there will be a little more wind than comfortable, but it will be good to see how the boat and family cope.

I'm always nervous before a long passage, but should settle when wee out there. We have plenty of crew (although short on experience) so hopefully wont be too tired when we get there and can have a good night partying in Spain.

Will send short emails/blogs on route and update you as to how we getting on.

So South at last

All our love
