Hi all

We escaped st lucia and very happy to do it. After arriving from the
USA we did a few boat projects, fitted our new electric toilet, fitted
half our hatch covers which are a godsend. We did not manage to do the
otherside of the boat as the anchorages are not calm enough to do from
the dink!
We then went into the anchorage and had Dilleto round for a bbq on our
brand new unit. The next day we upped anchor and headed for
Martinique. It was a pretty bouncy sail especially as we spent the
last few weeks as landlubbers. Everyone needed to get their sea legs
back!
We spent 2 nights in Fort de France, the shops were excellant and
despite everyone saying its expensive, we found it quite reasonable.
Last night we crossed the bay to a beach style anchorage and spent
time swimming with the kids, playing on the beach and cleaning the
bottom of the boat.

That night Vic and I had a long chat as to what our plans are. We were
going to head north to the virgins, but realise it will be one beach
after the next so we have decided to go as far as Dominica do some
hiking etc there, then turn South do Grenada etc and head to Trinidad
in time for Carnival. Its the 2nd largest after Rio so really looking
forward to that. While we there we will haul the boat and do her
bottom as she needs new paint to repel the nasties.
We could not find wifi in Martinique and were anxious to pick up mail
on google mail....now we can....the inbox was bare!!!! Where our
emails?

Hope every one is well and just mute not dead as our inbox indicates

All our love
