We are now just 60 miles from Horta and should arrive early tomorrow morning. The sailing has been great the last couple of days, but we have just gybed to head straight for Horta, which has put the large swell on the beam. Consequently we are rolling madly, and the sails are backing and slatting away. I suspect there will be little sleep tonight!

 

We have had dolphins come and swim alongside us at times over the last few days – very entertaining, but unfortunately still have to spot one of those elusive whales.
