With less than 100 miles to go, we are looking forward to arriving in La Coruna tomorrow morning. In any one hour period we can experience wind, rain, scorching sunshine, moderate or huge seas! Never a dull moment. We are currently on the edge of the traffic zone frequented by cargo ships and tankers. They are going north/south, while we are going east across their path. At the moment there are seven showing up on our screen spanning a 35 mile radius. In theory being a sailing vessel we have right of way, but if it comes to a stand off, the 1,000 foot vessel wins every time so we intend to stay well clear.
