Yet another change of plan. We took the dingy ashore and explored the small town of Muros this morning. Checking ahead with the car hire company we discovered that all their cars were booked out for Friday, meaning that we would have to find some other way of getting to the airport. Although rather late in the day, we decided to sail further south to keep our options open. It was a good decision and we were rewarded with a stunning evening sail with a following wind to arrive at Isla Ons as the sun was setting at 10pm. This anchorage has to be among the most beautiful we have seen yet. It is surrounded by hilly ground in the distance, dotted with teracotta towns and villages. With the evening sun on the coast, it made a spectacular place to sail into.
As yet we are undecided what to do tomorrow. It will depend on the weather. We are getting used to living on board, particularly cooking with the boat at quite an angle! The washing machine that we installed much to the amusement of the locals at Swanwick has made life much easier. The one thing we have been unable to do this evening is anchor within range of wifi; no problem for the over 40's but limiting for the under 20's!
