The journey continues! We have seen plenty of dolphins. Unfortunately Avril has still not managed to catch any fish.
The winds were very light yesterday evening, and so we set the gennaker, and sailed with that through the night. The upside is that we managed to make some, though slow progress; the downside is that the flapping and creaking meant that no one was able to sleep!
Today the weather is warm and sunny, again with light winds. We have poled out the tack of the gennaker to enable us to sail with the wind more directly behind us. We want to keep below 35N for a while as some storms are passing through just above there over the next couple of days. We look for some more consistent winds in the 15 – 18 knot range!
