We left Gibraltar at noon and sailed north east along the Costa del Sol
initially with fantastic downwind conditions. We are currently moored close
to Malaga. We had intended to anchor but the sea was far too rolly so we
parked in the adjacent marina. The Sierra Nevada mountains form a dramatic
backgroud, particularly when the sun set behind them. We are in a space
intended for a motor boat, and consequently the quay is too high up for us
to be able to exit the boat without some interesting gymnastics! Helen was
duly sent ashore to connect the electrics, only to find none of our adaptors
fit. She is currently our galley slave and cooking us wonderful smelling
fahitas for tea!
