Flat seas, different boat, different crew, long trousers, three people required to man the helm.......This can’t be the Caribbean????

The blue sky may be a bit mis-leading, but this is March in the Solent, UK, with Portsmouth visible on the horizon.

An unplanned trip back to the UK became necessary as Avril required some medical treatment. After two weeks on dry land, we gate-crashed Derek and Lesley’s beautiful Moody 54 and had a fabulous weekend on-board in unseasonably great weather.

We are hugely grateful to them and all who assisted in our brief trip home.
