Praia De Vitoria

We anchored here last Monday in company of sv Santana and Quicksilver, after a few hours motoring from Angra do Heroism, where we spent a week enjoying the 10 day São Juãon Festival.
Praia is a peaceful and well protected anchorage with lovely beaches and crystal clear water.
We would have liked to stay longer and drive around Terceira Island but have a very good weather window for our passage to Cascais, Mainland Portugal. So it's "off we go for our last ocean passage", which should take about 6 days.
We said our final good byes to Mike, Hilde, Jan and Trees, our fellow sailors for the last 6000 miles or so from San Francisco, as they are sailing Northwards to Spain next week. Hilde had cooked a fabulous meal last night and we enjoyed a wonderful evening on Quicksilver with lots of fun in good company and of cause it's "Until we meet again somewhere, sometime."
