The sea is calm now and we are well settled into our ocean life, feeling very much at home in the big wide blue with Kahia providing us with all we need. It has been cloudy for the last 24 hours but the air has become warmer and we are happy to take our heavy sailing gear off...still waiting for the sunbathing conditions though!

The Hydrovane  (Self steering wind vane)  has been working perfectly and we were sad when we had to stop it around 0800 hrs UTC this morning, becalmed for the first time. So now motoring, hopefully for not too long.
